Job Description The Turnaround Discipline Engineer has the responsibility to provide discipline expertise and support to all SUKEP Turnarounds to ensure all discipline requirements are taken into account in line with the Engineering department and Facility objectives. They provide assurance of Technical Integrity via monitoring of compliance, Barrier assessment, reviews and Audits and inputs to Maintenance Reference Plan. The Turnaround Discipline Engineers support all SUKEP operated facilities and as such are not full time on any one event. They will support each Facility Team and Work Preparation team in technical aspects of the work preparations to ensure M&I procedure and practices are taken into account. Work direction to be managed through the Turnaround Event Managers as directed by the Maintenance and Turnaround Manager. He / she interfaces with all functions within SUKEP to ensure maintenance and Technical Integrity during T/A is managed in accordance with the best practices and standards to meet business targets. Responsibilities Is the focal point for all scope in his/her discipline undertaken during the event. Provides clear support and direction to the TA teams for his/her discipline. Support execution of Maintenance/Assurance activities with Discipline expertise pre and during Turnaround. Provide support to ensure the required discipline assurance is in place to ensure compliance. Participate in technical reviews of the work scope to ensure deliverables meet the business expectation Review additional or emergent work discovered during T/A execution to confirm technical requirements from discipline perspective. Provide guidance to TA Execution teams regarding integrity matters during execution and ensure all repair work is fit for purpose. Provide feedback at the end of turnaround for "lessons Learned". Ensure enough time and priority is allocated to support each T/A team Required to go offshore for occasional visits (Preparation & Execution) Experience with SAP (CMMS experience) Self-starting, proactive and requiring minimal direction Qualifications Chartered Engineer TA3 as a minimum Working knowledge of Discipline Controls and Assurance Framework (DCAF) Professional working in the relevant discipline with proven experience on the Asset and equipment to be shutdown for maintenance Turnaround purpose Working Knowledge of Turnaround process and Turnaround preparation and execution practices About Us Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
