I am currently looking to speak with an engineer who will take up the position of Project Engineering Manager for a leading engineering company based in Manchester working on mixed carbon capture/hydrogen projects.
Role Background
Project Engineering Lead for the EPCM phase of an upcoming project. Ideal candidates will possess extensive experience in similar roles during the FEED and EPC stages for onshore brownfield oil and gas facilities, gas pipelines, and energy transition projects.
This is a hybrid role with 2 or 3 days based at the Manchester office.
Salary: £100,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits + Hybrid
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Experience managing multidisciplinary teams through various project stages and life cycles in major energy sector contracts.
2. Strong focus on process safety, quality, and environmental leadership.
3. In-depth knowledge of project delivery processes from acquisition to handover.
4. Excellent management and leadership skills.
5. Expertise in pipelines and energy infrastructure projects.
6. Champions Sustainability, Safety, Health, and Environment, prioritizing safety, wellbeing, and community and environmental prosperity.
7. Maintains integrity by consistently doing the right thing.
8. Customer-focused, striving for excellence by understanding, anticipating, and meeting customer needs.
Qualifications:
B.Sc. (Engineering) with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in EPC and major engineering companies.
