Our client, a leading manufacturing organisation, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Supervisor to join their team. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will oversee daily production activities, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitor and improve production standards, ensuring compliance with quality standards, SOPs, and BOMs.
2. Lead the production team to meet performance targets and foster a positive work culture.
3. Coordinate with the planning team to organize production schedules and ensure timely delivery.
4. Generate and present production reports, KPIs, and statistics to senior management.
5. Identify and implement process improvements using LEAN manufacturing methods.
6. Allocate resources efficiently to minimize waste and maximize profit margins.
7. Enforce health and safety regulations, provide staff training, and maintain training records.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
3. Previous experience in a production role is essential.
4. Hands-on approach with a proactive attitude.
5. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
Your Background:
1. A qualification in Health & Safety, Management, Operations Management, or related discipline is desirable.
2. Proven management experience within the manufacturing industry.
3. Competency in relevant IT systems, such as Microsoft Office.
