About You
You will be an enthusiastic and productive team player, with a good base of skill and experience. You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations in the dish wash area through maintaining a clean and tidy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Clean all utensils, crockery, and cutlery efficiently and in line with health & safety regulations to ensure a clean environment is maintained.
2. Ensure stock areas are always kept tidy and clean.
3. Put food stock deliveries away in line with kitchen compliance and regulations.
4. Handle stock with care to minimize breakages and report breakages when needed.
5. Always maintain a clean and tidy environment including keeping all floors clean.
Experience Required:
We are recruiting for a candidate who has previous experience within a fast-paced environment with great communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Role Specifics:
1. 20-30 hours per week including weekends, either one day or both.
2. We are able to offer fixed days off with no late night working as the Garden Centre closes at 5.30pm Monday - Saturday and 4.15pm on a Sunday.
3. 28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays (pro rata for part timers).
4. Enhanced pay rate for bank holiday working.
5. Free onsite parking.
6. Complimentary coffee & cake on birthdays.
7. One day a year for giving back to a Charity or your local community.
