Job Summary:
We are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Pontville School. As a HLTA, you will play a vital role in supporting the education and well-being of our students with Autistic Spectrum Disorder/Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

Responsibilities:
* Support the teacher in planning, preparing and delivering lessons to students with complex needs.
* Assist with the management of student behavior and provide individualized support to meet their emotional and academic needs.
* Work collaboratively with other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans.
* Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional and academic growth.

Requirements:
* Relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification and HLTA certification or equivalent.
* Significant experience as a teaching assistant in a special education setting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff and parents.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of students and the school community.
