You will work as a member of the Gynaecology Cancer nursing team providing patient coordination and care. You will work with the Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS) to provide coordination of high quality patient care through on-going telephonic/ face to face assessment and proactive identification of needs utilising basic clinical knowledge, approved tools and procedures. Support the Gynaecology Cancer CNS team in delivering a high standard support to patients with cancer. This will involve being in daily contact with patients suffering from a range of cancers. The post holder will be expected to support and signpost patients over the telephone, and progress their care pathway in liaison with other colleagues and departments in the hospital.
