Job Title: HSE Assistant/Manager Location: London (with flexibility to travel across group sites) Job Overview: We are seeking a proactive Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Assistant or Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for an individual looking to grow within the company, starting at a trainee level, or someone experienced in managing HSE responsibilities independently. The successful candidate will support the overall health, safety, and environmental policies across multiple sites and offices. Key Responsibilities: Conduct regular site and office inspections using the WiSE app to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and standards. Engage with subcontractors to ensure they meet company health, safety, and environmental requirements. Assist and support Regional Directors with monthly HSE reporting and data analysis. Play a key role in accident investigations, gathering information, and supporting regions in the process. Help drive environmental initiatives across sites, with a strong focus on sustainability and compliance. Travel regularly to various group sites and offices, ensuring consistent HSE practices across all locations. Skills and Qualifications: HSE Qualification: Ideally NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent. Environmental Qualification: Preferably holding or working towards an environmental certification (such as IEMA or ISO 14001). Strong communication skills to engage with all levels of staff and subcontractors. Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team to meet deadlines. Competent in accident investigation and reporting. Familiarity with mobile inspection apps, preferably WiSE or similar platforms.
