Regional Sales Manager, Development Accounts – Managed Services
£70,000 Basic, £140,000 OTE
Based commutable to Wakefield, West Yorkshire
We offer Cloud, Comms and IT solutions to enable increased security and productivity for SMEs. We have thousands of satisfied customers across the UK and due to increased volumes of business, we are now seeking to recruit a new Regional Sales Manager.
You will be responsible for leading and growing a dynamic team of field and internal account managers. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing, developing, and scaling the team to ensure customer retention and growth. You will drive performance, implement strategies, and build a high-performing team through recruitment and coaching.
Your leadership will be instrumental in creating a cohesive approach to promote the company's technology products and services, and ensuring a strong market presence. You will foster a collaborative and high-energy sales culture, emphasising accountability, growth, and success, conducting regular performance reviews, one-on-ones, and team meetings to ensure alignment with company objectives. You will need to develop and implement strategies to drive customer retention, upselling, and cross-selling, building and managing a target addressable market within the customer base through effective whitespace analysis.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing sales teams with evidence of driving high volume sales into a SME customer base. You will have a strong track record of driving customer retention, revenue growth, and demand generation as well as exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with a passion for coaching and mentoring. An analytical mindset with the ability to track, interpret, and act on sales data and KPIs will be very beneficial as will experience with CRM systems, sales enablement tools, and reporting platforms. You will also need to be able to demonstrate the ability to hire, onboard, and scale, high-performing sales teams.
