You will lead product/technical support for Aftermarket operations in the UK & Ireland, providing expert guidance, problem resolution, and training for our dealers and OEM dealers.

Who You Are & What You Need To Succeed
You are a technical expert with a passion for diagnosing and solving complex challenges in diesel engines, electrical systems, and modern engine control technologies.
To Succeed In This Role, You’ll Need
* Qualifications in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent)
* Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in industrial engine technology
* Experience with modern engine control systems and diagnostic tools
* Commercial industry/workshop experience, working with industrial or heavy-duty vehicles and machinery
* Excellent customer-facing skills, confident in engaging with Business Partners and OEMs
* A self-starter, able to take ownership and drive continuous improvements
* A valid UK driving licence, as travel is a key part of this role
Your Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert technical and product support for Aftermarket in the UK & Ireland and our OEM dealers
* Assist with warranty cases and help drive service improvements
* Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, from diesel engine faults to electrical system challenges
* Deliver bespoke training based on customer feedback, both online and at our Head Office.
* Support Business Partners and OEMs with hands-on training, tooling, and best practices
* Prepare and execute Market Quality Reports and Argus Service Requests to gain central technical support
* Visit customer sites to assess and enhance technical competence
* Represent Volvo Penta at industry events and share technical knowledge.
* This role will involve an element of manual labour to support on-site technical troubleshooting and repairs
