Your opportunity
1. Ensure integrity of pricing elements provided by the respective Janus Henderson Third Party Administrators (TPA), including oversight of external vendors.
2. Execute price verification including the calculation of fair value adjustments, and where necessary develop and review valuation models based on market data and security comparable information to provide valuation recommendations
3. Prepare and present valuation matters to the regional pricing committees
4. Maintain accuracy and integrity of Investment Book of Records (IBOR) including asset prices, ensuring that all positions and market value data used by Fund Managers and other internal / external clients & functions is of high quality
5. Oversee custodian cash and stock reconciliations performed by TPA with ability to clearly identify and resolve high risk items
6. Enhance existing control framework including oversight of TPA pricing & reconciliation processes, Service level Agreements, Key Performance Indicators and associated reporting.
7. Ownership for the resolution of exceptions and involvement in the production of MI, Data Quality, third party relationship management, escalation of issues, ensuring timely and accurate compliance
8. Work with internal departments and market vendors to maximise efficiencies and improve service to clients
9. Periodically review team processes and tasks to ensure they are optimal and fit for purpose
10. Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external functions e.g., TPAs, Data Operations, Trade Operations, IT Market Data Manager, Fund Management, Operations Strategy, Business Change, Client and Product Implementation etc.

Must have skills
22. At least 2 years prior experience in asset level valuations and fair value pricing, including interactions with Pricing Committees, ideally having worked at an Asset Management firm.
23. Dedication to continuous learning and growing of technical knowledge and understanding.
24. Problem solving capability for complex client and/or process issues.
25. Strong collaboration skills, being able to work well together with others in a team, across teams and departments.
26. Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Communicating well with colleagues, clients and stakeholders across Operations, Front Office and Technology departments and considering the specific needs of different audiences.
27. Ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and work well under pressure to respond to client inquiries quickly.
28. Highly organized, attention to detail and excellent follow through skills.
Nice to have skills
29. Prior experience in IBOR Reconciliations as our team covers both Pricing and Reconciliations.
30. Advanced user of Excel (Macros / VBA would be beneficial)
31. Use of Charles River, Imagine, Bloomberg, PowerBI.
