Job Description
1. 6-10 years of experience in automotive domain – Body & HMI systems with exposure to both OEM & system suppliers.
2. End to End design & integration of Body Control Modules, Instrument Cluster, Reverse Park Assist system, Immobilizer, TPMS, RKE / PKE, Climate Control and Exhaust Systems.
3. Experience in Automotive Software Development based on AUTOSAR standard.
4. Experience in Development and Application engineering for body and HMI systems in 3 vehicle programs and their variants.
5. Functional and logical design of features/functions using Vector PREEVISION for vehicle features.
6. Experience in design, Implementation and testing of In-vehicle networking (CAN & LIN) and diagnostics (UDS over CAN, KWP).
7. Architecture & Vehicle level testing of features in different projects with varied complexity.
8. Rich knowledge on networking and diagnostic (CANoe, CAN Diva, Candela Studio) and Calibration tools like INCA, VISU etc. as well as standards.
9. Congregation of ECU level CAN signal requirement, identify relevant partner ECU’s, design and release the vehicle level CAN matrix.
10. Design of Signals as CAN frames (DBC) to minimize the transmission delay in the network considering the safety & reliability requirements.
11. Expertise in Diagnostic specification development (Candela Diagnostic template - CDD and ODX) based on ISO14229 & ISO standards and deploying it across the development life cycle.
12. EOL Process development and implementation for a complete E/E architecture.
13. Good understanding of Product Development Life Cycle Phases, ASPICE and CMMI standards.
14. Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering (CPRE) and ISTQB – FL.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. First point of contact for issue reporting and tracking.
2. Perform root cause analysis for validation issues and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
3. Conduct meetings for integration team and plan software updates.
4. Prioritize issues, manage timelines, deliveries for business releases.
5. Organize review meetings for change content with respective teams for teams to perform validation testing.
6. Identify critical issues that will block the business release.
7. Plan the software content for each platform and review with the validation team.
8. Architecture & Vehicle level testing of features in different projects with varied complexity.
9. Design of Signals as CAN frames (DBC) to minimize the transmission delay in the network considering the safety & reliability requirements.
10. Have Jira up to date for efficient issue tracking, fixes, and releases.
