We are looking for a Finance Systems Analyst to join our fast-growing leading client based in Hertfordshire.
£65,000 - £75,000
Hybrid Working - Hertfordshire
You will support finance system operations and will play a key role in the rollout of new technology initiatives, which include an upgraded SAP and a Treasury Management System, along with a transition to Power BI reporting. You will also provide guidance to finance end-users and collaborate with the Technology team to ensure system enhancements and defect resolutions.
Role Responsibilities:
* Support finance modules in SAP and manage interfaces with other business systems.
* Oversee system administration, including access approvals for SAP finance roles.
* Ensure proper segregation of duties within SAP and prepare mitigation reports for the financial controller.
* Monitor SAP workflows and assist with issues in the P2P process.
* Identify opportunities for streamlining finance processes and managing the finance backlog.
* Act as a liaison between finance users and the IT development team, drafting requirements for system enhancements.
* Conduct first-line testing of new system enhancements and prepare training documentation for finance users.
* Assist in the monthly financial close process to resolve data provision queries.
Key Skills & Experience:
* ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification
* Strong academic background with a University degree and A-levels.
* Proficiency in ERP applications
* Prior experience in process improvement and systems enhancement projects.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide constructive feedback confidently.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
