Job summary Hampton Medical Centre is looking to recruit an experienced Practice Nurse to join our friendly, thriving Practice, based in Hampton Shopping Centre, Peterborough. Main duties of the job General Nursing Duties which includes: You MUST have past experience of a PN role in a GP surgery. Undertakes general Treatment Room duties including cervical smears, administering of immunisations and vaccinations, wound care, dressings, venepuncture, ECG recording, BP monitoring. Provides telephone advice, carefully documents consultations in the patient record. Family planning. Delivers Learning Disability Reviews. Management of long-term conditions where possible Health promotion. Has an awareness of Health & Safety issues with specific regard to obtaining/disposing and collection of specimens.
