An exciting opportunity for an experienced Engineering Team Leader to join a global organisation at the heart of the business on a Permanent basis.
About the Role
* Responsible for value stream (Product Line) performance – Quality, Delivery on-time etc.
* Owner of the Assembly value stream (Scheduling and Operations) and key stakeholder in the demand scheduling for the primary functions (internal manufacture and purchasing).
* Focal point for Ops and Supply Chains reporting structures.
* Key contact to maintain customer relationships, both via Customer Service & Product Management Teams and directly with customers.
* Observe and comply with Health and Safety regulations as laid down in company procedures and Government legislation.
* Carry out any other reasonable tasks as directed by the business from time to time.
About You
* Previous experience in people management of either a production line or assembly.
* Experienced in working collaboratively with the Supply Chain team.
* TEOA / Lean implementation experience (Essential).
* Planning / Scheduling experience/exposure.
* Ability to become a Product expert with training.
