Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 (dependent on skills and experience) benefits Closing Date: 28th March 2025 Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated individual to provide efficient and effective facilities and maintenance support. The role involves ensuring the security and general appearance of the buildings and surrounding areas are maintained to the highest standards. The successful candidate will follow safe working practices and adhere to instructions from the Head of Finance & Operations, Facilities and Maintenance Manager, Assistant Facilities and Maintenance Manager, technical consultants, contractors, and manufacturers. Key Responsibilities: Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annual health and safety compliance checks. Plan, organize, schedule, and complete planned preventative maintenance tasks. Identify, plan, organize, schedule, and complete reactive maintenance tasks. Monitor stock levels of consumables and arrange replenishment as needed. Perform meter readings for the Aga Khan Centre and any tenants. Report emergencies and follow established emergency protocols. Report any repair needs. Assist contractors and other personnel visiting the site. Comply with Health and Safety at Work Act, H&S policy, and other relevant legislation. Conduct weekly fire alarm tests and assist with evacuation procedures. Maintain the gardens in a clean and respectable condition. Test lighting systems and replace minor parts as necessary. Assist events, security, IT, and cleaning teams as required. Undertake painting, decorating, flooring, ceiling, and wall repairs/replacements. Perform any other reasonable duties as required. Qualifications, Skills, and Experience: General maintenance skills in plumbing, electrics, joinery/carpentry, painting, and decorating. Knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act. Basic computer literacy. Strong planning and prioritization skills. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to follow procedures, regulations, and legislation.
