Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Skills and Learning Facilitator to join the Critical Care team at QEQM. This is an essential role to support and progress our professional and diverse team.
Main Duties of the Job
We support and deliver a wide range of education and training across the team. We are committed to delivering best practice within Critical Care at EKHUFT to support the delivery of high quality and safe patient care. The Clinical Skills and Learning Facilitator role is integral to the unit. The role will work closely with the Practice Development Nurse to support learners in clinical practice and deliver training programmes.

Qualifications
* Currently working in a critical care unit with 4 years experience
* Significant contribution to practice and service development
* Evidence of expert clinical skills and ability to work outside traditional boundaries
* Critical Care Endorsement
* Completion of CC3N Step1, 2 and 3
* Leading development, implementation, and evaluation of formal education programmes

* Expert clinical skills

Governance
* Current health service priorities Nursing agenda
* Clinical governance
* Knowledge of Quality Improvement tools, ward metrics

The ability to converse easily and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for all customer-facing roles.
Most positions require a Disclosure and Barring check and will be exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Posts working regularly or unsupervised with children or vulnerable adults require an enhanced check.
