My client is currently seeking a Cyber Security Architect to come onboard and provide technical security advice and guidance across the organisation. The candidate will identify digital threats through risk assessments and some hands-on evaluations. They will participate in various change projects and be responsible for creating and disseminating customised security best practice guidelines to the broader business.Key Responsibilities and Skills: &x2022; Partnering with the business to offer security advice, define requirements, and provide guidance throughout the delivery of new systems or updates to existing ones, ensuring Security by Design principles are incorporated.&x2022; Participating in security-focused risk assessments to verify that risks remain within acceptable tolerance levels.&x2022; Assisting in reviewing designs to ensure they adhere to established security principles, patterns, standards, and best practices.&x2022; Contributing to the documentation of core security patterns, standards, and guidelines, while identifying opportunities for process improvement.&x2022; Identifying areas for improvement in current security processes.&x2022; Serving as the primary point of contact for security-related inquiries within the region and escalating issues as necessary.&x2022; Collaborating with the broader security architecture team to ensure a standardized and consistent security approach is defined and maintained.&x2022; Supporting IT teams to ensure appropriate security controls and measures are in place before system implementation.&x2022; Knowledge of widely recognised frameworks like NIST, CIS, ISO 27k, and MITRE.&x2022; Experience with SABSA is a plus.&x2022; Familiarity with Threat Modeling frameworks, such as STRIDE.Interested Please submit your updated CV to Emma Siwicki at Crimson for immediate consideration.
