Team Leader
(Hourly rate is £14.06 per hour. Salary is £27,417.00 for full-time hours dependent, plus £109.53 paid per sleep.)
£400 welcome bonus, awarded upon the successful completion of probationary period (terms and conditions apply).

As a minimum requirement, you must have a Level 3 in Health and Social Care qualification and have sufficient working experience within the field of Learning Disabilities and challenging behaviour. The position is ideally suited to a candidate who has experience in a Lead/Team Leader/Junior Management position in a residential setting.
The Role
This leadership role will oversee the Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) Practices within the service by:
* Planning and execution of the routine functions and activities within the home.
* Ensuring care is delivered according to relevant CQC registration regulations and complies with all legal requirements such as Health and Safety at work.
* Being proactive and promoting proactive approaches in the team to problem solve while also promoting quality of life outcomes for the users of our service, and positive interactions between staff and clients.
* Enabling the team to achieve goals and develop necessary skills through coaching, mentoring, and supervision, ensuring they are practicing best practice according to the PBS framework.
* Conducting assessments to obtain information to better support the clients, and to enable the team's understanding of the client’s needs.
* Chairing and facilitating team meetings and ensuring high standards of care and safe practices.
* Working as part of our dedicated, friendly, and supportive team.
This position is based in Walderslade. The total number of clients within this site is 6. Being a driver with access to a car is preferential but not essential. The people living within these locations are adults with a Learning disability and/or Autism with additional behaviours that challenge community services.
This is a full-time post. Hours range from 37.5 hours per week to 48 hours per week depending on the chosen shift pattern, consisting of Early shifts (8:00 am - 3:30 pm), Late shifts (3:00 pm - 10:30 pm), and 12-hour shifts (Long Day 1, 8:00 am - 8:00 pm and Long Day 2, 10:30 am - 10:30 pm). Additional on-call hours based upon on-call rota rotation, and possible occasional sleep-in responsibilities will be required.
Hours are worked in accordance with a 2-weekly rota between Monday and Sunday.
A full UK Driving Licence is required for this position for manual vehicles.
