QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR AND CNC MACHINIST
We are recruiting for an Inspector to work for our client who are located in Shipley West Yorkshire.
THE DUTIES OF AN INSPECTOR:
1. Visual examination of final parts
2. Use measuring apparatus including CMM
3. Reading engineering drawings
4. Complete reports to sign off
5. When quiet on inspection undertake other duties, general machining and assisting other engineers
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:
1. Minimum 2 years' experience working within a high precision manufacturing background
2. Excellent communication skills
3. Designing, reviewing and updating quality control policies and procedures
4. Ensuring quality check procedures are followed at every stage of production
5. Documenting any quality issues and using the current process system for recording such documentation
6. Dealing with customer feedback and complaints
7. Creating and modifying CMM programmes on QCT
8. Producing accurate reports to give to customers
9. Supporting the shop floor by supplying accurate feedback on any manufacturing errors
10. Conducting measurement analysis work for various departments as and when required
11. Inspect first offs, random checks and last offs
12. Calibration of all equipment - measuring and thread gauges
13. Monitor and update records accordingly for ISO9001
14. NCR reports
15. Reviewing existing procedures to ensure they meet the current guidelines
16. Maintaining documentation of procedural changes
17. Collaborating with external vendors and suppliers to ensure that they meet quality standards
THE HOURS:
Working on days - Monday - Thursday 7am - 5pm
Friday optional OT 7am to 11am if required
THE PAY:
You will earn an annual hourly rate of between £14-17 per hour depending on experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
