The role is predominately office or site based, where you will be delivering the training sessions and some hybrid working can be accommodated when not delivering training. Regular travel around the business is required, alongside some overnight stays. What will you be doing as a Learning and Development Facilitator at Avara? The Learning and Development Facilitator will design, deliver and continuously improve behaviour based learning activities, workshops and programmes to improve the leadership and management skills of our people. You will develop an effective working partnership with managers and colleagues to ensure facilitation and delivery of accredited and non-accredited learning and development programmes across Avara. What will your key responsibilities as Learning and Development Facilitator include? Facilitate dynamic, interactive learning sessions that inspire using a variety of mediums to deliver such as in person workshops, virtual sessions and blended learning approaches Lead and deliver part of the Avara Leadership Programme, including delivery of the accredited ILM 3 Management course Facilitate a range of accredited and non-accredited programmes aimed at new and first line managers across all of Avara sites and areas Provide constructive feedback and one-on-one coaching to enhance skill development Create inclusive, collaborative learning environments that encourage critical thinking Evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes and identify areas for improvement Share knowledge and best practices with other facilitators and team members Deliver various assessment tools (eg MBTI, Strengths, 360 ° Feedback) Work closely with the wide People team, and key stakeholders to align learning initiatives with Avara’s organisational goals Manage logistics for training events, including scheduling, venue setups, and equipment preparation What you’ll need to be successful as Learning and Development Facilitator? Essential Skills A formal learning and development qualification or equivalent i.e. CIPD Level 5, ILM 5, TAP, coaching qualification Minimum of 2-4 years in training facilitation, learning and development or a related field Strong facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels and work effectively within a team, see the potential in others and understands the impact of their actions on colleagues Strong knowledge of soft skills areas (communication, leadership, teamwork, emotional intelligence, conflict resolution) A relentless drive to improve performance and deliver outstanding results through new, innovative and more effective ways of working Ability to work under own initiative and be self -motivated, with competent organisation and planning skills Ability to create, design and improve learning programmes and sessions A high level of personal integrity demonstrating respect and empathy for others and is consistent and open Be an advocate and role model of Avara’s behaviours Desirable Coaching Qualification or equivalent Qualified practitioner of assessment tools such as MBTI, EJI, WRAW Experience of working in FMCG or Manufacturing Proficient in learning management systems (LMS), virtual learning platforms and other digital training tools The benefits of working for Avara Foods: As a L&D Facilitator you will enjoy a secure, supportive and progressive working environment, where your contribution and achievements will be recognised and rewarded.
