Your new role
As our new Consultant you will support projects with confidence and embrace continuous learning to excel in your technical field. This role is about innovation and fostering strong client relationships with clients who strive for excellence in sustainability.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
1. Plan, undertake, coordinate, and supervise BREEAM Infrastructure (CEEQUAL) projects across a portfolio of projects within the public and private sectors.
2. Work alongside our engineering, building, transport and other teams as required to support client projects.
3. Engage in wider sustainability projects that could include sustainability services, whole life carbon assessments, LCA’s and carbon reporting.
4. Serve as a positive team member, embodying Ramboll's expected behaviours.
Your new team
You will be part of our Sustainability and Carbon team within the UK Environment and Health business unit. We provide services in corporate net zero strategy, science-based targets advisory, carbon data management, energy efficiency, sustainability and climate risk, biodiversity net gain, natural capital, EHS management, impact assessment, health sciences, air quality, BREEAM Infrastructure and due diligence to diverse clients in various sectors. We have a collaborative and supportive team culture that encourages initiative, teamwork, and continual improvement in all aspects of our work. You will work within our small virtual team of just over 20 people but will have the opportunity to work and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including transport, marine and buildings across the Ramboll business.
About you

Whilst we look forward to supporting your continued learning and development, for this role we have identified some qualifications, skills, and capabilities that will set you up for success.
You will typically have two to three years’ experience and this could include the following areas:
1. Certified BREEAM Infrastructure Assessor/CEEQUAL Assessor and demonstrable experience of working on BREEAM Infrastructure/CEEQUAL projects with experience of working alongside engineering designers and contractors.
2. Ideally wider understanding of sustainability and experience in one or more of the following sustainability skills: whole life carbon assessments, LCAs and Environmental Impact Assessments.
3. Excellent engagement and relationship building experience with the ability to effectively communicate to internal colleagues and external clients.
4. Experience of supporting project management tasks to support delivery of projects on time and to budget.
5. Experience of writing and reviewing reports, including contributions to Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) or Strategic Environmental Assessments desirable (not essential).
6. Be able to demonstrate an ability to be flexible/adaptable and to learn new skills as you may be expected to work across multiple workstreams.
