Blackfox Solutions are delighted to be working with a leading infrastructure company specialising in power, fibre, and civil engineering projects, focusing on innovative solutions for Battery Storage sites, Data Centres, and Wind Turbines.
They are currently seeking a passionate and dynamic Health & Safety Manager to take a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the highest standards of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment across their operations. This role is essential in championing a safety-first culture and ensuring compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 standards. Key Responsibilities include:
* Develop and implement QHSE policies, fostering a company-wide safety culture.
* Conduct regular audits and inspections, ensuring compliance and identifying areas for improvement.
* Lead accident investigations, determining root causes and overseeing corrective actions.
* Deliver training, safety bulletins, and toolbox talks to promote awareness across the business.
* Maintain certifications (e.g., Constructionline, NICEIC, Achilles, CHAS) and ensure consistent adherence.
* Manage the Business Management System (BMS) and lead internal audits to uphold ISO standards.
* Collaborate on Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and safe work instructions.
* Prepare and present Monthly Management Reports and Quarterly Board Reports.
Essential Qualifications required:
* NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent).
* Membership in IOSH or equivalent professional body.
* Environmental Management qualification (e.g., IEMA).
* Strong knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a QHSE role within the construction or utilities sector.
