ABOUT THE ROLE
1. Efficient unloading, handling, and storage of delivered material
2. Inspection of materials to agreed quality parameters
3. Ensuring correct storage both inside and outside with location of materials and adhering to any special instructions
4. Ensure Mill certification is with steel delivery – verifying correct cast numbers
5. Correct identification and marking up of material with unique traceability number
6. Completed paperwork to be given to Purchasing Department
7. Sorting and feeding production with materials to production plans including assisting with manoeuvring of materials on to and off the machines, either by crane or manually.
8. Any downtime beyond the above functions then assistance to be given in the Laser Department
ABOUT YOU
1. Recent/relevant experience in a Manufacturing Goods In / Warehouse environment
2. Valid and in date Fork Lift Truck Licence – Counterbalance Licence B2
3. Slinging and Lifting skills
4. Collaborative working style
5. Flexibility to adjust to workload priorities
6. Excellent organisation/time management skills
7. Strong communication and motivational skills
8. Physical stamina – manually moving materials
9. Proficient in the use of warehouse/manufacturing technology and computer-based operating systems
