We are a group of companies working in the legal, accident management and healthcare sectors currently looking for a Service Desk Manager to join us on a permanent basis.
The Service Desk Manager is responsible for managing the 1st line Service Desk team who support approx. 850 users, end user devices and IT applications across the business. Reporting to the Head of IT Service Delivery, this role will work closely with the Business Support Manager to ensure that service levels and customer expectations are met or exceeded.
The Service Desk Manager will drive the output and performance of the team ensuring that standards and processes are followed to meet defined benchmarks.
What we are looking for:
* Experience of Azure, VDI, Horizon Service Now, VM Ware and Microsoft stack.
* Solid Demonstrable experience of managing a 1st line IT Service Desk team, with customer service experience
* Experience managing, coaching and developing a small functional team
* Experience of Exposure to ISO27001
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft desktop and server technologies to support technical teams
* Detailed knowledge of ITIL practices (ITIL v3 or v4 Service Management)
* Asset & configuration management
* SLA definition and management
* Knowledge of Incident and Problem management

This role is based at Barton House, Northgate Close, Horwich, Bolton, BL6 6PQ.
Monday to Friday 37.5 hours with 1 in 5 weeks on call. (Flexibility needed for this) Details will be given during interview process.
