Job summary
We are looking to employ a hardworking, conscientious individual who will work as Team Administrator, full time in the north dales community mental health team.
The successful candidate will be required to deal with both incoming and outgoing telephone calls at times, filing, arranging clinic bookings and general administrative support of the clinical team.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will ideally have an awareness of mental health issues and will be able to demonstrate a caring and sensitive approach to their work. They will have an eye for detail and a high degree of accuracy. They will be able to effectively and clearly communicate with colleagues, service users and their families.
As a team player, you'll be able to prioritise your work in order to meet deadlines and have a customer focused approach. Previous experience of working within the NHS is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
You are required to have a Level 3 Qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience or willingness to work towards Level 3 qualification in Leadership and Management and experience of working in a busy administrative environment and be proficient in the use of MS Office.

Qualifications
Essential
1. Level 3 Qualification in relevant field or equivalent experience or willingness to work towards Level 3 qualification in Leadership and Management.
2. Key skills/functional skills in literacy and numeracy Level 2 OR O Level (Grade C and above/New GCSE in Maths and English (Grade 4 to 9) are an essential requirement to be fully competent in the role. Where an applicant does not have the above qualifications or are unable to provide evidence of the certification, the applicant MUST achieve the required standards during their probationary period
Experience

3. Experience of working in an administrative environment (diary management, filing systems, meeting coordination, minute talking, data input, collating and presenting information).
4. Customer Service experience (face to face, answering calls, correspondence)
5. Experience of organising completing demands and workloads.
6. Experience of setting up and maintenance of administrative systems and processes.
7. Experience of working autonomously and proactively.
Knowledge
Essential
8. Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
9. Understanding of data protection and the need for confidentiality and how to maintain this.
