Our Legal team plays a key role in supporting that mission by helping the business navigate risk, protect our platform, and power our growth with thoughtful, innovative counsel. As Legal Counsel, you’ll be a strategic advisor to cross-functional teams across Product, Data, Marketing, InfoSec, and beyond—shaping how we build and scale with confidence in a rapidly evolving legal and regulatory landscape. How You'll Make an Impact Partner with Product, R&D, and other internal teams to review tools, features, and initiatives and provide clear, practical legal advice. Advise on data use, management, and privacy-by-design processes that support our global services and user trust. Collaborate with Trust & Safety to ensure content on our platform is safe, lawful, and aligned with our values. Help evolve our global privacy program through scalable policies, procedures, and documentation. Draft and implement terms of use, internal and external policies, and consumer disclosures. Negotiate and manage a wide range of commercial agreements including IP licenses, co-marketing deals, MSAs, and SaaS agreements. Resolve legal issues in existing commercial relationships with a solution-focused mindset. Stay ahead of emerging global regulations across privacy, AI, content, and consumer protection. Support legal team knowledge-sharing, training, and process improvement initiatives. What You'll Bring 4–7 years of relevant post-qualification experience (PQE) in both law firm and in-house roles, ideally within tech or high-growth environments. Deep knowledge of privacy, data security, IP, and consumer protection laws in the US and internationally. Proven ability to translate complex legal issues into actionable guidance for business stakeholders. Strong experience in commercial negotiation and contract drafting. Clear, concise communication skills with a talent for simplifying legal concepts. Collaborative approach and strong relationship-building skills across teams. Experience with IP licensing and product counseling in tech environments. A proactive mindset and curiosity to keep learning, especially in areas like AI and digital regulation. Good To Have Experience working with or advising on generative AI and related legal implications. Background supporting fast-paced or global consumer-facing platforms. Familiarity with content moderation and online platform regulations. Passion for building scalable legal processes and training materials.
