The Role:
ARM are currently recruiting for a Senior Operations Manager to play a significant role in our strategic and day-to-day business delivery. This is an exciting opportunity to join a long-standing, family run business, focused on delivering a quality product in a productive and profitable way.
Responsibilities:
1. Managing operational requirements in line with business strategy and objectives
2. Management of Quality Assurance System at all levels of the organisation to create awareness and ensure understanding by translating this awareness to common practice
3. Implementing and continually improving ERP system for all business processes
4. Setting and monitoring KPIs throughout the business
5. Leading change initiatives both at the technical and people levels through recommendation of improvements in structure and processes by identifying performance gaps and resolving these with efficient and cost-effective solutions
6. Responsible for the safety of all employees, their training in safety and for the enforcement of safety programs and policies in line with HSE regulations
Requirements:
1. At least 3 years' experience in a management role within an engineering/manufacturing environment
2. Strong knowledge and practical understanding of ISO 9001
3. Proficient in implementation and use of ERP Systems
4. Strong leadership and team management skills to motivate and develop staff
5. Have a continuous improvement mentality to drive quality improvement throughout the business and promote efficient ways of working
6. Degree-educated or equivalent in Business, Engineering, Materials or Manufacturing based subjects
