Business Development Manager / Sales Manager - CNC Machining / Machined Components / Precision Engineering - Aerospace & Defence
Label Recruitment are currently working exclusively in partnership with a leading CNC Machining business that specializes in Precision Engineering and Machined components across key markets. This business is highly successful, going from strength to strength, increasing their turnover year on year! They have also recently spent over £1.25 million in capital investment, so it really is an exciting time to join the business!
They are extremely successful within certain industries, but they are now looking to build on this success by targeting the Aerospace and Defence industries. Therefore, they are now looking to take on a Business Development Manager to have a key focus on these sectors, with a main focus on new business development, but it will also involve some account managing.
The Role
1. This is a UK wide position and a brilliant opportunity for someone to come in and shape the role and make their own.
2. Implement business development strategies to optimize a competitive advantage and secure new sales within the Aerospace and Defence industries.
3. Take on a very strategic sales approach to open doors in these sectors.
4. Establish relationships with key industry players and partners, cultivating key networking avenues to generate new business opportunities.
5. Leverage distributor status to drive business growth.
6. Assist in creating development plans within the wider engineering business and internally manage areas of responsibility and accountability.
The Person
1. Have a strong background in machining / machined components or understand the machining process.
2. Have a proven sales track record in this field.
3. Ideally have experience selling into the Aerospace and/or Defence sectors.
4. Must be able to read technical drawings.
5. Ideally have engineering qualifications / degree or be Apprentice Trained.
6. Have a strong commercial awareness.
7. Must be extremely personable and be able to engage and connect with people at all levels in businesses.
8. Good IT skills.
