Job Title: Personal Care Assistant required in Barking.
Location: Barking, UK
Position Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants for double-handed calls every other Saturday and Sunday, starting from Saturday, 26th October. The ideal candidates will support an elderly bed-bound lady with Alzheimer’s, providing the care and companionship she needs.
Support Hours:
1-hour call: 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM
45-minute call: 12:00 PM - 12:45 PM
45-minute call: 3:00 PM - 3:45 PM
45-minute call: 6:00 PM - 6:45 PM
Rate of Pay:
£13.15 per hour and £9.86 per 45 minutes.
Key Responsibilities:
-Assist with personal hygiene, including pad changing, grooming, and bed washes.
-Prepare meals, including pureed food, and assist the client with eating when necessary.
-Administer medications as prescribed.
-Maintain a clean and safe living environment for the client.
-Ensure clear communication with other Personal Assistants and the client’s Family.
Ideal Applicant Must Have:
Experience in personal care, particularly with elderly clients or those with Alzheimer’s, is preferred.
Compassionate and patient attitude.
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Reliability and punctuality are essential
