About the hospital;
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced Senior Nurse to join a highly reputable and dynamic private hospital based in Worcester. If you are an experienced Nurse this is a great opportunity to join their friendly surgical team. The hospital undertakes a range of procedures including orthopaedic, urological, cosmetic, spinal, gynaecological and general surgical procedures. The services has 4 theatres, 25 beds, a state- of- the- art endoscopy suite, oncology suite and dedicated clinics. The team are passionate about the high quality care they provide and looking for a like minded Senior Nurse to join the team.
Duties and responsibilities
You will be working as a Senior Nurse on a surgical ward as part of our nursing team and will be responsible for:
8. Manage the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of planned care for patients
9. Display effective management of clinical teams, in a safe and caring environment, in the most efficient and clinically effective way
10. Support the Ward Manager and Head of Clinical Services in the overall management of the healthcare environment.
11. Develop own knowledge and practice and assist others to continually professionally develop
12. Lead others in the development of knowledge, ideas, and work practices
13. Develop and improve services
14. Contribute towards improvements
Who we’re looking for
15. Be NMC registered RGN – your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
16. Eligibility to live and work in the UK
17. At least 5 years experience in an acute setting in the UK
18. Experience working as a Senior Nurse in a surgical unit
19. Autonomous decision maker
20. Able to showcase excellent patients care
21. Strong communication skills
22. Flexible and eager to learn
