Job Introduction
An exciting opportunity has arisen for us to appoint a driven and enthusiastic Reception Teacher and Head of Art and DT, with a passion for learning and a desire to maximise the potential of each child on their journey through the School. The role will be 1-year fixed term in the first instance, with the potential to become permanent. The appointee will be responsible for teaching Reception and leading a curriculum area (Art and DT, or English) across the School. This role will suit a passionate teacher, with a firm understanding of current EYFS pedagogy and assessment practices, and a desire to engage in the wider life of the School. This exciting role brings with it the opportunity to take an already excellent Reception class to the next level, and requires an enthusiastic individual with the skills, passion and experience to do so. We are a warm family-oriented community with a strong emphasis upon the holistic needs of our children as well as sound academics. We pride ourselves on knowing our children well and creating a personalised learning journey for each and every one of them.

Salary is dependent on experience and will be in line with the St Wystan’s salary scales.
