About the Role:
My client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Maintenance Officer to support their Maintenance Manager with overseeing and managing the maintenance operations of their facilities. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient operation, upkeep, and safety of housing. The role is Hybrid, but weekly attendance to the office will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
·Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring timely and high-quality work.
·Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to identify potential issues.
·Manage and oversee contractors and service providers.
·Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
·Maintain records of maintenance activities, budgets, and equipment inventory.
·Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
·Ensure customers needs are met or exceeded.
Skills & Experience:
·Proven experience in a similar maintenance role, preferably in a senior capacity.
·A minimum of Level 2 Asset Management and Building Compliance qualification.
·IOSH qualification.
·Good working knowledge of IT systems including Micr5osoft 365 packages.
·Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
·Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
·Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
·Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
