ABOUT THE ROLE
As a CCDO Site Supervisor/Manager at Colemans, you’ll play a vital role in the successful execution of demolition projects. You’ll be responsible for ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on every job site. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Uphold strict adherence to Health and Safety legislation, Coleman & Company procedures, and RAMS task briefings.
2. Provide support and guidance to your team and line manager.
3. Attend site meetings and progress briefings.
4. Conduct thorough site appraisals, complete safety checks, and submit timely requisition forms.
5. Manage project schedules, monitor workloads, and report any changes to the project manager.
6. Oversee all aspects of site operations, including safety, discipline, daily task planning, resource coordination (plant, transport), financial control, and client liaison.
7. Maintain positive relationships with clients and ensure their satisfaction.
PERSON REQUIREMENTS
1. Experience in demolition / construction industry, particularly steel and concrete structures
2. Strong leadership and communication skills
3. Excellent organisational and time management skills
4. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
5. Self-motivated and able to work independently
6. Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances
7. Willingness to travel and work away from home as needed
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
1. Hold a valid CCDO Supervisor (Gold) or Manager (Black) qualification with relevant NVQ industry assessments.
2. Possess additional essential certifications: Asbestos Awareness, First Aid at Work, Temporary Works, SSSTS, PASMA, IPAF (or equivalent).
3. Minimum 5 years of experience in demolition, including steel and concrete structures.
4. Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and implement safe work practices for teams.
5. Flexible, proactive, and can-do attitude.
6. Full UK driving license and eligibility to work in the UK.
7. Willingness to travel and work away from home as needed.
