This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a dynamic team, support our customers, and ensure the successful management of key projects. What You’ll Be Doing ✔ Lead and Inspire – Manage a team of 9 technical and customer service professionals, supporting their development and ensuring industry compliance. ✔ Customer-Focused Leadership – Be the key contact for housing developers and homeowners, guiding them through their journey from planning to connection. ✔ Technical Oversight – Oversee the evaluation and approval of applications for new water connections (Section 45), ensuring compliance with industry standards. ✔ Engineering Problem Solving – Deliver innovative and practical solutions for complex developer applications. ✔ Stakeholder Engagement – Represent Southern Water at meetings with customers, developers, and key stakeholders to maintain strong industry relationships. ✔ Regulatory Excellence – Stay ahead of industry and regulatory changes, updating technical guidance and ensuring governance compliance. ✔ Performance Management – Drive the success of our Developer Services team by meeting key performance targets, including D-MeX qualitative and quantitative measures. What We’re Looking For Experience leading a team in a customer-focused, target-driven environment. Strong background in civil engineering, construction, utilities, or telecoms within a corporate setting. Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
