As a Customer Onboarding Specialist, you’ll be the friendly voice on the other end of the line—the first point of contact for potential customers looking to join the Octopus Energy family.
Your mission? To share your passion for green energy, guide customers through their journey, and help them make informed choices that benefit both their household and the planet. You’ll be a key player in promoting the very best of Octopus Energy, ensuring every interaction is personal, informative, and focused on the customer’s needs.
Sharing the exciting products and services that Octopus offers over the phone while happily addressing any questions or concerns.
What you'll do:
1. Be the first point of contact for prospective new customers calling to join Octopus Energy.
2. Speak with potential or existing customers to inform them about our products and services in a friendly manner.
3. Provide excellent customer service, dedicated to finding out how you can help each customer.
4. Be comfortable answering enquiries in volume, guiding each customer on a journey of discovery.
5. Onboard customers by assisting them in selecting the best tariff to suit their needs.
What you'll need:
1. Previous experience working in fast-paced customer service, operations, or telesales environments.
2. Clear communicator with a focus on listening and acute attention to detail.
3. Honest, focused, and committed to delivering the highest levels of customer service.
4. Adaptable personal style, able to receive constructive feedback on performance.
5. Quick learner with exposure to different areas.
6. Open to challenges, including supporting existing customers with their accounts.
