Interim Business Analyst - Local Authority (AB15598) Essex, England
About the Role:
Our Local Authority client is looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst on an interim basis for the beginning of a greenfield piece of work. The successful candidate will play a critical role in analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and delivering innovative solutions that drive business success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
* Conduct detailed analysis of business processes and identify areas for optimization.
* Develop functional specifications, process flows, and use cases.
* Work closely with IT and development teams to implement technology solutions.
* Support project management by tracking progress, risks, and dependencies.
* Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to define business needs.
* Ensure solutions align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
* Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve decision-making.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Business Analyst in Local Authorities highly desirable.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Experience with business process modeling, requirement gathering, and documentation tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Visio).
* Understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
* Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools is a plus.
* PRINCE2 qualified.
Salary: GBP450 - GBP500 per day
