Role Overview:
The Financial Accountant will be responsible for a number of technical accounting areas as well as supporting their line manager, the Senior Financial Reporting Manager and the wider Financial Reporting team on month end close, planning, forecasting and reporting activities.
Your Objectives And Responsibilities Will Focus On:
* Financial accounting and reporting of leased assets as part of the month end close, providing relevant financial disclosures.
* Development and reporting of the Management Bonus and Profit Related Bonus scheme models in line with employee contracts.
* Accounting for Share Based payments and liaising with Group Finance where required.
* Producing and maintaining process documentation for the regular month end routines.
* Ownership of monthly balance sheet reconciliation accounts across areas of financial accounting responsibility.
* Preparation of and support on monthly and quarterly analysis of the statutory Profit and Loss, Cash flow and Balance sheet position for Spirax-Sarco Ltd. and Gestra UK Ltd.; provision of context and meaningful analysis and insight.
Your Previous Experience Is Likely To Include:
* Working within the financial department of a commercial organisation.
* Proficiency in Accounting software and tools.
* Demonstrable excel skills to an advanced level for data analysis, financial modelling and reporting.
* Financial Reporting and Analysis.
* Budgeting and Forecasting.
* Regulatory Compliance.
To be successful in this role you will:

* Be a proactive, self-starter with a positive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
* Possess a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA or CIMA).
