Who You Are You are a highly motivated and committed Main Grade Social Worker with experience in a statutory setting. You possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and have strong assessment and case management abilities. You are knowledgeable about Personal Budgets/Self Directed Support, local and Pan London Safeguarding protocols, and have a sound understanding of relevant legislation and social care initiatives. You have good supervisory skills and are ready to work in a dynamic environment focusing on promoting independence and quality of life for vulnerable adults. What the Job Involves Your role is crucial in contributing to the Royal Borough of Kingston’s vision of being a highly regarded place to live and work. You will carry a varied caseload, including high-risk cases, and undertake safeguarding investigations. You will conduct screenings, provide advice, and perform initial and reassessments of customers' needs, especially those with non-complex and long-term, low-level needs. Collaborating with internal and external partners, your work will focus on creating outcome-focused support plans for individuals and empowering them to maximize their independence.
