The Partnerships Manager will play a key role in identifying, cultivating, and managing strategic partnerships that that elevate the Nyetimber Group brand in the UK. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to drive growth, enhance brand awareness, and create valuable and Perfectly British long-term collaborations. The Partnerships Manager will have a strong background in partnership development, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage complex relationships across multiple industries. The Partnerships Manager will play a pivotal role in bringing the Nyetimber brands to life through partnership activations, digital collaborations and events, ensuring every moment aligns with our luxury brand standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Lead the development and implementation of the Partnership’s Strategy for the Nyetimber Group.
* Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within partner organisations.
* Act as the primary point of contact for existing partners, managing day-to-day communications and ensuring a high level of mutual satisfaction.
* Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities that align with Nyetimber’s Sales and Marketing strategies.
* Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, sales, legal, etc.) to ensure smooth execution and alignment of partnership initiatives.
* With the Head of Marketing Activations, work on negotiations for new and existing partnerships, ensuring terms are mutually beneficial.
* Work with the Wedding Project Manager to manage and develop Wedding specific partnerships that speak to both the Partnerships and Weddings strategy.
* Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of our partnerships.
* Track and analyse the performance of existing partnerships, making both creative and data-driven recommendations for development and growth.
* Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
* Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities to identify new partnership prospects for the brand.
* Define clear communication protocols for working with internal departments. For example, working with the Sales Team to define and align partnership strategies with sales goals, plus collaborating with the Marketing Team to develop digital, content and POS ideas to enhance the exposure and outcome of each partnership.
* Coordinate joint marketing initiatives to further integrate the Nyetimber brand with our partners, creating co-branded campaigns and events.
* Plan, monitor, and manage the annual partnerships budget, ensuring that all partnerships are delivered within scope while maintaining high standards of execution.
* Attend Partnership events, launches, and gala dinners where Nyetimber is served to ensure that every Nyetimber moment promotes a luxury guest experience, exceeding attendee expectations at every opportunity.
* Become a ‘Nyetimber ambassador’, sharing in-depth knowledge about Nyetimber wines, the vineyard, and the brand story with guests and stakeholders. Represent Nyetimber as a polite, charming, and enthusiastic host while always maintaining professionalism.
* Undertake additional responsibilities as required to support the wider business objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
* Relevant experience in partnership management, business development, or a similar role.
* Experience within a luxury brand setting is essential.
* Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events across varied formats and locations.
* Proven ability to manage Partnership budgets and deliver strong ROI, ensuring that all financial aspects are tracked accurately.
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with diverse sponsors. Demonstrated ability to build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Strong negotiation skills to secure competitive agreements with external partners.
* A meticulous eye for detail to ensure flawless execution of every activation.
* A creative mindset for developing innovative concepts that align with the brand's luxury positioning.
* Able to anticipate potential challenges and respond with quick, effective solutions.
* Flexibility to work outside regular hours, including weekends and travel for events.
* An interest in wine and spirits, and WSET qualifications is desirable.
