We are expanding our Shrewsbury office and we are looking for somebody to provide administrative support to our existing team of 4 business support specialists. Our clients are typically a mix of private clients, developers, householders, farmers and landed Estates.
About the Business Support Co-ordinator Role
The role is working alongside the existing business support team in the delivery of their work. The focus will be on handling everyday requests for support and prioritising urgent or essential tasks and to deliver these efficiently under direction. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate enthusiasm for helping others and a willingness to learn.
Business Support Co-ordinator duties will include:
• Setting up projects on our CRM system
• Organising meetings and co-ordinating diaries
• Organising, preparing and sending invoices
• Creating, editing and formatting documents
• Drafting letters and emails
• Researching and collating project data
• Reviewing email inboxes for several Surveyors and prioritising their tasks.
A good working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint is essential, as is the ability to uphold standards while juggling several tasks at once.
This role is for a fixed term of up to 9 months to cover maternity leave.
Business Support Co-ordinator Requirements
Berrys is very much a client-facing business, so we are looking for somebody who is calm and confident, who enjoys helping others and who understands and acts swiftly on instructions. The successful candidate must have experience of working in a professional services environment.
Business Support Co-ordinator specific requirements are:
• Previous experience in an administrative or business support role
• Excellent organisational skills and an eye for detail
• Good written English and problem-solving abilities
• High level of proficiency in Word, Excel and Powerpoint
• Patient and calming manner, whether helping colleagues or clients
• A strong initiative and taking ownership of tasks without direction to support busy colleagues
• Ability to work flexibly and unsupervised in a professional way
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, to be worked flexibly Monday-Friday.
