The Department for Education’s most recent report on its ‘Children’s Social Care Innovation Programme’ acknowledges the success of the ‘Hampshire Approach’. Registered with Social Work England with at least three years' experience, you will be highly skilled at building meaningful relationships with children and families to engage them in assessments and plans. You will need to be creative, flexible and forward thinking in your approach, whilst constantly striving for continuous improvement to provide the best outcomes for children. In this new role, you would be expected to contribute to a culture of learning and improvement and mentor colleagues to meet their aspirations.Senior Social Workers do not directly line manage, but will provide mentoring, support and guidance for other colleagues making the role an excellent opportunity to further develop yourself and role model your existing skills.
