RES Couriers, a transport & logistics company based in North Shields, is looking for one team member to join our customer services team. You will be working with an experienced team to support the customer services function by handling calls from both customers and drivers, as well as dealing with queries via email.
LNE - Logistics North East is our sister company, and we will need flexibility to work at either site.
What you’ve done & who you are:
1. You are an excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with a strong attention to detail.
2. You have a vibrant, supportive, and warm personality with a ‘can do’ attitude and a hands-on approach, all encompassed within a small team setting.
3. You are very organized and have a strong ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
4. You have high IT literacy abilities.
5. You may or may not have previous experience with customer service or logistics.
What you’ll do:
1. Handle inbound telephone calls and emails from customers and depots relating to parcels being delivered across DH/NE and SR postcodes.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From £11.44 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
