Shift Leading: Take responsibility for leading shifts, including task allocation and workload management to ensure smooth operations.
Leading by Example: Set high standards of behaviour and professionalism to inspire and encourage the team.
Supportive Environment: Ensure that the children's emotional, physical, and social needs are met, promoting a positive and nurturing environment.
Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all activities and environments comply with relevant health and safety legislation and regulations.
Knowledge of Regulations: Stay informed and up-to-date on all relevant legislation, regulations, and standards governing children's care.
Direct Reporting: Report directly to the Registered Manager, providing regular updates on the care and progress of the children, and supporting management duties when required.
Skills & Experience:

Experience: Significant experience working with children or young people in a residential care setting.
Safeguarding: Strong understanding of safeguarding protocols and experience implementing them.
