Join AZAD as a System Administrator to perform systems analysis, interfacing with users to support functional requirements development, analysis of tools and techniques to support the development, troubleshooting, analysis, performance monitoring, and improvement of systems used by the Operations functions. This position will provide Cyber Vulnerability Assessment and conduct vulnerability scanning services as well as provide CVA Data Call response(s).
This is a 2 years plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is based in Vancouver, Washington and is full-time on site.
The hourly pay rate for this position is $55.00 - $64.00.
The ideal candidate must possess the minimum qualifications:
1. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a directly related technical discipline is preferred.
2. 8 years of experience is required with an applicable associate or bachelor's degree.
3. 10 years of experience is required without a degree or applicable degree or with no degree.
4. Experience includes a minimum combination of work-related experience, on-the-job training, and/or vocational training. Experience should be consistent with the specific requirements of Computer/Information Technology or related field, and progressively more technical in nature.
5. 2 years of experience with the following:
1. Classes of vulnerabilities, appropriate remediation, and industry standard classification schemes (CVE, CVSS, CPE).
2. Linux and Windows operating systems, including common programming or scripting languages.
3. Devising methods to automate testing activities and streamline testing processes.
4. Knowledge of patching programs of major hardware/software manufacturers. Knowledge of secure configuration and hardening of systems.
5. Knowledge of methods for ongoing evaluation of the effectiveness and applicability of information security controls (e.g., vulnerability testing, and assessment tools).
6. Knowledge of security vulnerabilities, application analysis, and protocol analysis.
7. Knowledge of network topology, communication protocols, firewalls, proxies, and IDS systems to effectively configure scanning software.
Valid U.S. Driver's License is required.
Ability to pass a federal background and drug screening is required.
