Responsibilities of the VP of Business Development:
* Build upon well-established, existing customer programmes with OEMs and Prime OEMs internationally
* Further develop CAV System’s offering in the MRO aftermarket on existing and new programmes
* Assess market opportunities for new product development and work closely with the engineering teams to develop new aerospace, defence and EVTOL concepts
* Help develop CAV System’s technology roadmap to align new products with the future trajectory of the aerospace market
* Customer interface for CAV System’s during trade shows, customer visits etc.
* Price negotiation and management of commercial agreements for all contracts with international customers
* Support the CAV System’s goal of doubling in size over the next 5 years
* Travel internationally to support CAV System’s annual sales targets (OE & aftermarket)
Experience required for the VP of Business Development position:
* Degree qualified, equivalent experience
* Sales management position within aerospace or defence manufacturing
* Extensive account management/customer interface experience
* Ability to engage with R&D, Engineering and manufacturing during NPI/NPD
* Willing to travel internationally (UK, EU, and US)
* Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
