Job summary This post is central to delivering effective patient care at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The post will be primarily based in Winchester but you may be asked to attend other sites as required. The post will be involved in all aspects of diagnosis and treatment of patients. The post holder would be on the resident 1st on call rota supporting in Critical Care overnight. Main duties of the job Duties include being part of the 1st on call rota, when you will be covering theatres and the Critical Care Unit. This is supported by a consultant in intensive care and consultant general anaesthetist, both non-resident. The majority of clinical work will be in RHCH main theatres or Day Treatment Centre, anaesthetising for a variety of surgical specialties. There is opportunity to develop confidence anaesthetising for major surgical cases or particular sub-specialties, under consultant supervision.
