We are seeking a Head of Audio Visual with strong experience to become an integral part of our dynamic team.
You’ll be working alongside our highly creative and specialist team of Designers, Project Managers, Fabricators, Programmers, Copywriters, Video Producers, and Project Coordinators, building highly immersive learning, communication, and events, predominantly for a host of leading Pharmaceutical Companies.
You’ll be working in a highly collaborative close-knit environment, where using shared knowledge, a joint approach, and a thorough understanding of resources aligned to client needs are paramount to successful outcomes.
Job Type:
Full-time, permanent, in-house at our Eastbourne offices. While this job is mainly a Monday - Friday position, the nature of our business may require attending conferences in far-flung parts of Europe at weekends and outside of normal operational hours.
Responsibilities:
To oversee all aspects of our AV department – from collaborating on project ideation, developing and delivering our response, costing and specification of technical provision, managing technical implementation from end-to-end, troubleshooting potential issues through to final project delivery/installation and operation on-site or offline.
Requirements:
* Experience/proficient in specifying, setting up, and operating all AV requirements for both live and hybrid events.
* Experience of live exhibition booth stand builds and conference production.
* Ability to provide on-site technical support during events, addressing any issues.
* Ability to action meticulous planning of all AV for upcoming jobs including design and creation of accurate specifications and costing of requirements, floorplans, and schematics (power and tech plans) required by venues.
* Preparing and testing equipment, collating equipment, producing risk assessments, and method statements.
* Testing, fault finding, servicing, and maintenance of equipment on an ongoing basis, including management of stock.
* Ability to prioritise and manage multiple milestones and projects efficiently.
* Passion for fast-paced and varied environments.
* Willingness to travel, a valid driver’s license, and passport.
* Knowledge of rigging equipment, including trusses for exhibitions and conferences would be beneficial.
* Software (commonly used): Rhino, vMix, OBS (Open Broadcaster Software), Video conferencing programmes (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams), Equipment rental software (Rental Point), ATEM Software, Microsoft Office.
Salary and benefits:
Salary: Circa £40,000.00 per year dependent on experience.
