We are on the lookout for Experienced Animal Technicians in the Milton Keynes area. Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine husbandry duties, including feeding, cleaning, watering, and ensuring the welfare of the animals are in line with Home Office and GMP regulations.
* Conduct health checks and room checks.
* Perform Paracox QC testing (oocyst counts) following SOPs and GMP compliance.
* Assist with regulated procedures when required.
* Be responsible for cleaning rooms and workspaces.
* Raising of deviations in the Quality Management System and completion of related documentation.
What we are looking for:
* Previous experience working in a research facility with rodents.
* Experience in animal husbandry and competent in health checks.
* Ability to identify deviations and raise events in the Quality Management System.
* Home Office License (preferred).
* Knowledge of Animals Scientific Procedures Act 1986.
This opportunity is a 12-month contract with potential to move to a permanent position.
