Reference: 58900dba Job Purpose: I am an older gentleman with high anxiety while at home in the evening and nighttime who is looking for PAs (for job share) to support me with settling in for the night, reassurance, companionship and prepare my dinner. You will not need to stay awake after I go to bed; this is a sleep-in position. There is a support bedroom available with access to kitchen and shower. I have a companion cat to distract me from becoming anxious. Therefore, you would ideally like cats. All genders are welcome to apply. Location: Norfolk, NR26 Details: You would be arriving around 20:00 and sitting with me, watching news or a film (I like James Bond films for example) or chatting to ease my anxiety. Then make a supper for me and provide company until I am ready to go to bed. I do not need support during the night so you would be able to sleep. In the morning you would leave at 07:00 while I am still asleep. Person specification Essential: Empathetic and understanding. Caring and compassionate. Summary terms and conditions: · Hours and times of work: 11 hours of support per night. Work hours would usually be between 20:00-07:00 (inclusive of the sleep-in.) · The rate of pay for this position. Hours and rates are as detailed below: Employed 20:00 - 22:00: £14.67 per hour for the two hours £29.34 22:00-07:00 (sleep-in): £47.13 Pay per one night: £76.47 Self-employed 20:00 - 22:00: £18.50 per hour for the two hours £37 22:00-07:00 (sleep-in): £59.42 Pay per one night: £96.42 · The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks · This position requires the employee to complete free annual training: GDPR, Health and Safety, Anxiety, Autism and Food Hygiene.
