This role requires a minimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing engineering role. Relevant experience in technical risk management. Someone who can demonstrate a pragmatic approach to problem solving, is self motivated and has strong communication skills. Experience with MRP systems, preferably Syspro, and CAD software is also required. What you’ll be doing Ownership of assigned manufacturing processes within one of our competence centres. Ensuring all supporting documentation (route cards, BOMs, technical documentation) is created and maintained; and; applicable customer/3rd party requirements are met Working with other engineers and the operations team to jointly manage quality, productivity and output of the assigned manufacturing processes Acting as engineering point of contact for the Material Review Board, this includes dispositioning non-conform parts on time, creating and coordinating concessions/permits and rework sheets Compiling FAIRs and when needed coordinating FAI activities Support process risk management activities for the assigned processes Support senior engineers in the NPI projects Solving manufacturing problems to resolve internal and external issues and maintain zero-harm culture in the process Working with and assisting tooling engineer with tool design, manufacture, repair and purchase Supporting the collection of data for estimates, technical and manufacturing proposals Assisting and supporting special process engineers in specific projects or the implementation of changes Why Join Our Client?
